The South West Market – Feb 21st & 22nd 2015

WOW!! That went rather well – Sunday was quite busy, but Saturday was RAMMED! 45 traders, two encampments of re-enactors inside, plus Ferret Racing for charity. LOTS of very happy traders, we have already e-mailed the venue to ask for a re-booking of same dates next year. Many more photographs to come to form the professionals, here’s a few I found time to take….

I have been asked to stage a similar market to the NLHF in the South West of England, and after a lot of frustrating time wasting, I have found a perfectly placed venue at Henbury, which is a suburb of Bristol, just minutes from J17 of the M5, close to the M4/M5 intersection, so convenient to re-enactors and role players in South Wales, the West Midlands, and the South West.

Avon Riding Centre, Kings Weston Road, Henbury, Bristol BS10 7QT

Space for 65 or so traders, depending on what space folk chooses to book, and FREE admission. (Why change the winning formula?)  February 21st & 22nd, open from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Parking on site is limited (200 to 240 cars) but there is free parking close by (within reasonable walking distance if the venue’s fields are too wet for us to overflow park in them.
